How to detect hardware problem by using BIOS beep codes

Everytime you turn on your computer, you will hear that sound coming from your pc(unless your BIOS speaker is broken).It is normal to hear a single beep during startup.But, what if...you hear more than 1 beep?That means, the BIOS is trying to tell you something is not right in there.If you could understand this "beep language", you could check for the problem itself before sending your computer to a pc repair shop.
